10 Ways to Look Younger Naturally

The desire to look young comes naturally to us, so in this blog, I thought of discussing some tips and ideas that will help you look and feel more youthful. Following these tips should not be too cumbersome or time-taking. Simply tweaking your daily routine will enable you to start putting these ideas into practice to help you feel good and look great.

It is important to understand that our outer appearance is a reflection of how we are on the inside. It’s not just about how and what we eat, it’s also about how we feel. If we stop taking care of our emotional and mental selves, our looks will start reflecting that. For instance, the skin will start looking dull and drab apart from other consequences.

Here I want to share some easy tips which you can use daily to look young and feel active:

1. Drink Lots of Water

Water is amazing for our health and body, and drinking 2-3 litres a day can help us get beautiful glowing skin. Water cleans out toxins, helps our organs function well and boosts energy levels in the body. One way we can enhance the beneficial effects of water is by ‘writing’ some words on it. Get a crayon, glass pen or sharpie and trace out a word of intention on your water bottle, glass or cup. By using the vibration of this particular word, you are instilling it with the energy of your intention.

According to a Chinese scientific study, words have a power of their own which is manifested in the form of vibrations. So, when we ‘write’ a word on food or water, we are transferring its energy into ourselves. Isn’t it lovely?

If you don’t want to load up with water, you can also opt for herbal tea. These beautiful teas are infused with vitamins and minerals. The one that I am enjoying these days has cinnamon, apple and currants and I love to drink it all the time. I also love mixing it with hibiscus tea. Hibiscus is one of the most amazing tea supplements rich in Vitamins C, B1 and B2 apart from many nourishing minerals to strengthen and invigorate the body.

2. Eat Natural, Organic Fruits and Vegetables

The second thing to do is switch to natural, organic fruits and vegetables. Today, most of us follow a diet made up of processed foods that are full of preservatives, chemicals and toxins. Processing foodstuffs also affects many of the nutrients present in fresh, natural food. Even though we feel full after eating processed food, the fact is that they do not provide adequate nourishment to our bodies.

So, eat lots of plants, vegetables and fruits that come directly from the sun. Snack on them instead of snacking on processed stuff. In fact, you should reduce your expenses on make-up and skin treatments and invest more on organic and natural foodstuffs. This modification to your diet is certain to boost your health and eventually empower you with a strong mind and body. Eating better will also improve your mood and help you feel more energetic, so never compromise on healthy, wholesome food.

3. Get Active—Go For Morning Walks

Getting active doesn’t mean that you must go to the gym. Like me, you can opt for long morning walks, watching the sun rise. Welcoming the sunrise every morning can add that little bit of sacredness to each day. Beginning your day by taking in the natural beauty around you will infuse your life with joy and gratitude.

When you are feeling good, looking good, and radiating happiness, people around you too will be inspired to see the radiance within themselves. The infusion of happiness and joy has the potential to make you look and feel more youthful. The joy within you translates into a glow which cannot be replicated by any other method. It is a radiance that comes only from being genuinely happy from within.

4. Speak Your Truth

Speaking your truth and expressing your emotions is vital for your overall well-being. Most of the time we keep suppressing our emotions and feelings, and this can lead to anxiety, depression, anger and frustration. These emotions prevent us from feeling good about ourselves. So allow yourself to speak your truth and express your feelings in a loving way with your near and dear ones. Allow yourself to create a supportive environment so that you have the opportunity to discard various ill feelings, and be a happy, blissful, younger you.
